The drawing for this raffle will be Friday, November 9th at noon! We will conduct the drawing live on Facebook. You do not need to be present to win. The Winslow Police Department is proud to host an upcoming shooting competition. This two-stage shooting competition will be both semi-automatic pistol and pump shotgun. Many prizes will be available from our sponsors: Trophies, firearms, etc. This will be held at the Winslow Police Shooting Range at approximately mile marker 9 on North Park Drive, north of the city limits. ****Reminder!!!! This is tonight at 6:30 p.m.!**** The Winslow Police Department is looking to partner with local volunteers to start and operate a shooting club here in Winslow. The members of this club will work with the police department in managing the new police department shooting range. This is an excellent opportunity to work with the local public in providing a safe, clean and professionally managed firearms range that responsible citizens can utilize. A meeting for anyone interested will be held at the Winslow Police Department on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. If you are interested, please call Lt. Be advised North Park Road is closed at miles post 3 north of Ames Acre / Five Mountain area due to heavy flooding at miles 10.

The Winslow Police Department was recently presented this beautiful plaque by the family of Navajo Code Talker George B. Willie Sr. We are honored to have been included in the remembrance of this great man’s life. Semper Fidelis sir.

*************Update*******************Update***********************Update************ On 10/4/2018, Samuel J Molina was taken into custody at Twin Arrows Casino after a citizen's tip to Authorities. As a result of Mr. Molina's arrest, search warrants were conducted at Twin Arrows Casino and the Cornerstone Apartments located at 912 W. Third Street in Winslow. The arrest of Mr. Molina and the search warrants were completed with the joint effort by MCAT, GIITEM, Coconino County Sheriff's Office, Navajo Police Department, Flagstaff Metro Unit and the Winslow Police Department.
