We had a great turn for the Project Graduation Breakfast this morning. There are few tragedies that compare to losing a child and Project Graduation has been giving teens a safe place to have fun on graduation night for 15 years. Thank you to all the businesses and community members that support this important event.

Welcome, Clara Diaz, to the OVPD family! She is a lateral police officer and will hitting the streets next week. Make sure to tell her "hi" if you see her.

No this is not a ghost...we are looking to identify this suspect from a shoplifting at the Ulta that occurred on 10/23 around noon. We know the picture is terrible but she is described as a White female, about 5 feet tall and 100 lbs. She has short "spikey" blond hair and may have shoplifted items before. Wow! What a great morning hanging out with these Special Olympic athletes at the Breakfast of Champions. We were honored to carry the torch in and Chief Sharp gave a great speech about the special partnership between Special Olympics and Law Enforcement Later today, OVPD officers will be at the Fry’s at Oracle/1st pumping gas for donations to Special Olympics. We will be there from 3-6.

Fuel of Dreams is this Thursday! Special Olympic athletes will be accepting donations at the gas pumps at the Fry's on Oracle & 1st and in exchange, OVPD officers will be pumping your gas and washing your windows. We will be there from 3-6 p.m.

National Night Out was a huge success. We had a great turn out and the weather was perfect! Thanks to all the public safety agencies who came out and we hope you enjoyed meeting them. A huge thanks you to Target in Oro Valley for donating all the prizes and letting us take over your parking lot.

These suspects have ties to crimes in Oro Valley. Great example of how our Community Action Team works with other police departments to combat crime on the NW side.

October 20th is National Move Over Day. Help us spread the message about moving over when you come upon a tow truck, construction or emergency vehicle.

We are trying to identify this suspect in a shoplifting from the Ulta store in Oro Valley. This occurred on 9/22 and we suspect he my have stolen from other Ulta stores as well. He is about 6'2, 190 lbs and is about 45 yrs old. If you recognize him, please call (520) 229-4900, Case # V18091016.
