We always love an opportunity to spend time with our little ones and to get them thinking early about safe activities. We read, "Clifford Takes a Walk" by Norman Bridwell. Clifford helped us this afternoon to learn rules on how to be a safe walker. "Look right, left, right and meet the driver's eye to make sure you are noticed before you cross by." Thanks, Ms.Quyen Bullard for inviting us into your TK classroom at Tom Kitayama Elementary School this week!

During the last week of Child Safety Awareness month, we were super excited to host our 1st Car Seat Awareness Event with WalMart and SafeKids Alameda County. Both organizations offered tremendous support to help us educate our community members on Car Seat Safety. They were awesome partners to co-host this event. Thank you Emma Oleberger from Safe Kids Alameda County and Ofc Dinnen from UCPD for presenting such valuable information about seat selection and installation techniques and to Christine & Angel Alido and staff from Walmart Union City - Dyer St who gave us the perfect location, great snacks and cars seats for our raffle. Lots of good information was shared and one family won a free car seat.
