We always love the costume pictures that we get, but these hold a special place in our hearts. Hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween.
Ghouls and goblins aren’t the only scary sights lurking on Halloween. Drunk drivers put themselves and others at risk, and their actions can be deadly for you or a loved one. Halloween should be a night of good memories, not nightmares. #BuzzedDrivingIsDrunkDriving

National School Bus Safety Week, October 22-26 Riding the school bus is by far the safest way for students to get to and from school, but everyone must do their part. “We ask all drivers, always be alert and avoid distractions, especially when children are at a bus stop,” CHP Commissioner Warren Stanley said. “Children may not recognize traffic hazards, so it is up to all of us to help keep them safe.”
National Teen Driver Safety Week, October 21-27, 2018 This week and every week, parents should have conversations with their teens about the important rules they need to follow to stay safe behind the wheel. These rules address the greatest dangers for teen drivers: alcohol, inconsistent or no seat belt use, distracted and drowsy driving, speeding, and the number of passengers. We oftentimes see a police uniform as a just a symbol. However, behind every uniform is a man or woman whose life experiences greatly shape what they bring to this profession. In this video, we highlight four incredible women who were willing to share their story in hopes to encourage others to do the same. The more we share, the better we understand each other, and the greater impact we have on those we serve. We celebrate our Women Leaders in Law Enforcement. Be Bold. Be Brave. Be You.
This morning, Commissioner Stanley spoke during the opening ceremony at this year’s Women Leaders in Law Enforcement Training Symposium. Pictured below are Commissioner Stanley and some of the women leaders in our department in attendance. #Wlle2018
