This future police officer just got his wheels today at his 5th birthday. He invited our day shift officers, SWAT and K-9 officers to celebrate with him. This young man has been courageous while battling some health issues and we were honored to celebrate this special day with him. Modesto Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 78-year old Robert Wiseman. Wiseman has the beginning stages of Dementia and hasn’t been heard from since Wednesday, 11/07/18. We have received information that he may have been in the Livermore area at 4:40 am this morning. Wiseman drives a silver Nissan Frontier truck, license plate #8A52753. He was last seen wearing a light grey jacket, tan/brown button up shirt, tan pans, dress shoes and glasses. If you locate Wiseman or have information regarding his whereabouts please contact our non-emergency dispatch at 209-552-2470.

This guy was captured on video when he robbed the Burger King on Oakdale Road, October 26th. He lifted his sweatshirt and displayed the grip of a gun at the cashier. A Modesto man is deceased following a shooting that occurred in the 3700 block of Coffee Road. Shortly after 7pm officers responded to the scene, a garage in the alley to the rear of the residence, and located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. This appears to be an isolated event. He is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 30-years old, 5’8”, 180 lbs, wearing a grey hat and black hooded sweatshirt with an orange decal. He was also wearing sunglasses, black pants, white basketball shoes and grey gloves.
