On October 1, 2018, at approximately 2:40 p.m., a resident in the 700 block of Copper Lane had a bicycle stolen from in front of his entry door. The suspect was captured on video taking and riding off on the bicycle. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is in the process of implementing a new, Statewide Digital Fingerprinting Process known as CABS (Colorado Applicant Background Services.) This program is tentatively scheduled to start implementation on Monday, September 24, 2018. Due to the change, the Louisville Police Department will only be taking fingerprinting appointments through October 2, 2018. After that time, anyone needing fingerprints will have to register online at www.coloradofingerprinting.com. Since yesterday (July 1st) until this afternoon, we have had over 17 reported vehicle trespasses, 1 burglary, and 3 stolen vehicles. Please lock your vehicles, close your garage doors and never keep keys inside your vehicle. One vehicle has not been recovered, but we have located the other two.
