Regretfully because of call volume, we didn't get any photos of the activity from last night but we want to thank all the citizens of Brush out helping clean up the town. We not only observed people cleaning up their own property but helping neighbors and even helping clean debris out of the streets and other areas. The officers that were working deeply appreciated the assistance. Anytime nature throws a curve ball, its fantastic to see the community still knock it out of the park by working together. Truly great community!!!

For further updates regarding weather and power outage, please follow the Morgan County Sheriff's Office Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/morgancolosheriff/

Second weather related post. An update with Xcel Energy. They are currently doing in an assessment phase in an effort to make it safe for citizens. Once this is concluded they will start working on power being restored to those areas that have been lost. If you have a line down, please stay away from it and contact our dispatch 970-842-5021. We're working with Xcel to get all lines noted. Thank you

Due to the weather, there were numerous areas that have lost power. The city has work crews out to take care of what they can. Regrettably there is no time frame for when power will be restored for those that have lost it.
