The East Hartford Police Department vs Pitkin School basketball game was intense, to say the least, with the lead going back and forth between the teams throughout the match. In the end, the true winners were all those who will enjoy the boundless playground being built on the grounds of Pitkin School. Proceeds, generated from this event raised over $1,100 and will benefit the Pitkin Playground Project. Very special thanks to all who supported this event and this cause, including basketball player Kevin "Showboat" Jackson who joined us, EHPD Citizen Academy alumni and the East Hartford Police Officers Association. Another rematch is being planned, please watch for coming announcements.
