The Bridgeville Police Department is investigating a complaint involving a subject who fled from officers and was in possession of a large amount of counterfeit currency. On October 25, 2018 at approximately 2345 hours, the pictured subject attempted to evade an officer and soon after was involved in a single vehicle collision. The subject then fled on foot in an unknown direction. Officers from the Bridgeville Police Department, Delaware State Police (Troop 5), and the Delaware State Police Aviation Unit were unable to locate the subject. Anyone with information on the identity of the subject is asked to contact the Bridgeville Police Department.

Mr. Brummell has been located and arrested. ***WANTED....AGAIN*** Maurice E Brummell Charges: Noncompliance With Conditions of Recognizance Bond or Conditions Felony Brummell is a 33 year old male that was last known to reside in both the Bridgeville DE area and the Newark DE area. On Friday, July 13, 2018 Bridgeville Police Department patrol officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Sussex Highway (US Route 13) south of Seashore Highway (SR404). The operator was identified as 46 year old Daniel Perez of New York. Upon further investigation and a vehicle scan by Bridgeville PDโ€™s K-9 team, officers discovered bags of illegal narcotics inside of the vehicle. The bags contained approximately 2.756 lbs (1,250 grams) of powder cocaine and 188 grams of heroin. The total estimated value is over $100,000. Perez was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court #2 and issued a $141,501.00 cash bail. Perez was committed to SCI after his failure to post bail.
