The Florida Department of Law Enforcement released a new app this week that can help keep you informed on the over 60 registered sex offenders within Hardee County.

After 4 days of helping fellow first responders clear debris from their homes our agency is on their way back. Please continue to keep the panhandle in your prayers as there is a lot more work to be done.

Thank you Highlands County Sheriff's Office for locating him in Sebring. ******* Missing Person***** We are currently looking for a missing 81 year old Hispanic male, Faustino Diaz, in the area of Racoon Rd. He has been missing since approx 10 am. Polk County is providing assistance in the search with their helicopter. Subject is approx 140 lbs with brown eyes and blackk hair with no facial hair, scars or tattoos. He was last seen wearing a green short sleeve shirt and grey pants with black shoes and a black cowboy hat. If seen please contact the Hardee County Sheriff's Office dispatch center at 863-773-4144.
