#Goodnight #Clewiston No matter where you are in the city tonight, we’re here to keep you safe. So lock up and rest easy, we’ll see you in the morning.

Clewiston Police Department would like to thank the community and Walmart for their outpouring support. We asked for donations to assist a family and we received a tremendous response. Walmart also assisted and donated clothing and costumes for the family. The City of Clewiston Parks & Recreation Department donated a pumpkin. We just truly want to thank our community for always supporting our missions to help those within our community. Our community and sponsors like Walmart are truly amazing and the reason our community outreach is so successful. Look at the smile on his face, I think this says it all.

#thankyou We want to thank the community for the amount of support we have received thus far. This morning we have walked into donations that started at 6 a.m. and we’re beyond humbled. We want to thank everyone who shares our posts and supports our agency. We’re truly committed to helping as many people as we can. We have built strong partnerships with businesses like Walmart to assist in giving back to the community. We have reached out to resources to build partnerships to assist our communities needs. We are here to help. Our department is always open. Each officer who serves our department is committed to helping our citizens and offering services. We love every interaction we have with the community and we will continue to help in any and every way we can. We are honored to serve our citizens. So we appreciate this sweet note left for us. Please stay tuned to our little Halloween shopping excursion with our little guy to get a costume. We can’t wait to surprise him. We have also been able to afford the family the chance to work with our agency in an Explorer capacity. We are excited to have them join the Explorers.

💙Please share💙 Our hearts just melt for this little guy. Officer Green was his super hero, he was in absolute awe of Officer Green and we think this photo says it all. We were recently contacted to assist a family in our city with some school supplies. Well, we knew we could help with the boxes we received from our wonderful Walmart Clewiston and management team, Mike Schwede. After loading them up with so many great supplies, we found out the family is in need of some clothes. We would like to help this family. We are looking for new or gently used clothing for a female teen size 13 in pants and a Large in shirts. Also, looking for pajamas and clothing for a boy size 6 or 7. Anyone looking to help can contact Detective Diaz at 863-983-1474 ext 208. We would be happy to pick them up as well. As always, we want to thank the public for always assisting us.

Sharing for Clewiston High School, PSA academy. We got this Clewiston, let’s represent like we did for the ACT shelter. You can drop off to the Police Department as well. Please see Kristine Peterson’s message: WE NEED YOUR HELP!! The Mexico Beach Police Department was destroyed by Hurricane Michael. ALL of the officers lost their homes, yet when asked why they were still working, they said they took an oath to protect and serve their community and would not leave them when they were needed most. What a message of dedication for our scholars to observe. We will be collecting bug spray, sun screen, energy bars, nuts, water, non perishable snack items, bleach, new underwear and socks, wipes and other portable items officers can store easily. We will collect this week, up until Friday afternoon. Please bring your items to CHS and if you would, include a note of encouragement for our public safety brothers and sisters. They have a long road ahead.🚔🇺🇸
