Plant City Police Department News

On behalf of Chief Ed Duncan, PCPD would like to give a big shout out and thank you to Mike Wells and his family for cooking up and serving a delicious BBQ. It was a terrific turnout from Plant City Police & Fire, Colonel Kyle Robinson and members of HCSO and Sergeant Dennis Hobbs and some of his fellow FHP Troopers. The menu was BBQ chicken, pulled pork, baked beans, potato salad and banana pudding and cookies for dessert!!! Thank you again Mike for your extreme generosity and show of support for your Public Safety community!!

The PCPD received a visit today from Rylan Budd and his Mom, Jen Budd. They brought a large envelope of handmade cards and letters from children all over the Tampa Bay area. The cards and letters came courtesy of radio station, Spirit 90.5 FM's "10-24 Project". PCPD is humbled by this gesture and we would like to thank all the children and grown ups who make this initiative possible.

Thanks to Jensen's Heart of Gold Foundation for the wonderful card they sent to MPO Dennis Pawlowski. Dennis visited them at an event held at the train depo on September 29, 2018. He had opportunity to interact with the kids and spend some quality time with them. There were several event booths, facing painting and he gave out several items of police gifts to the kids as well. It was a fun time had by all!!
