On the evening 08/27/2018, a trade-specific set of tools was found in the intersection of Asbury Rd and the NW Arterial. Call the Asbury PD during business hours at 563-585-1874 with a description of the tools to claim them.

Within the city limits of Asbury, door to door sales reps must first acquire a peddler’s permit from city hall. If you receive a visit, you can ask them for their credentials or call the PD for assistance.

EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING ISSUED: ...EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM FRIDAY TO 7 PM CDTSATURDAY THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN QUAD CITIES HAS ISSUED AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM FRIDAY TO 7 PM CDT SATURDAY. THE HEAT ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT. * HEAT INDEX VALUES...105 TO AROUND 110. * TIMING...FRIDAY THROUGH SATURDAY. MAXIMUM HEAT INDEX READINGS IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS. * IMPACTS...HEAT ILLNESSES ARE LIKELY DUE TO THE DANGEROUS COMBINATION OF VERY HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS.
