This Wednesday at 12:18 MT pm, FEMA will conduct an Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) emergency notification test featuring Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA). This national test will also be broadcast on radio and television stations. Although this test is focusing on reaching mobile devices with the IPAWS, this will be a good time to test your National Weather Service weather radio if you have one. This website has additional information on the IPAWS National Test: https://www.fema.gov/emergency-alert-test Also, check out this @Readygov article on what the EAS is all about, including how to make sure you receive IPAWS alerts on your mobile device: www.ready.gov/alerts
