Congratulations to Sgt. Dave Davis he was Presented the Illinois State Police Directors Award for Distinction on Tuesday October 30th 2018 in Springfield Illinois. The award was presented for his actions and assistance with a fleeing suspect that was actively shooting at a State Trooper on Interstate 80. Good Work from all of us at the Sheriff's Office.

The Henry County Sheriff's Office would like to commend Correctional Deputy Calib Ingle for his on-the-job actions that saved the life of a jail inmate. On September 27, 2018, Deputy Ingle responded with concern to check on a distraught and depressed inmate in a cell block. He found that the inmate had attempted to hang himself using a bed sheet. Deputy Ingle removed the unconscious inmate from the sheet. The inmate regained consciousness and was transported to the hospital for treatment. Thank You Deputy Calib Ingle! Job Well Done!

Retired Henry County Deputy Qualification Shoot-2018

A gas pipeline will be bled today in the Cambridge (Rosedale cemetary) area. This is controlled and will last anywhere from 15 mins to 2 hours. Thank you for your time.

The Henry County Board recognized retired Sgt/Inv Sue Cervantez with a plaque acknowledging her 23 years of dedicated service to Henry County. Thank You Sue!

Sgt. Josh Verscheure and Deputy Dave Smutzer (pictured here with Sheriff Kerry Loncka) were awarded Letters of Commendation at the Henry County Board Meeting for their pursuit & apprehension of burglary suspects in early July 2018. Job Well Done!!

With the helpful coaching and direction of Telecommunicator Deputy Chris Wrigley, Patrol Deputy Dave Smutzer assisted the mother-to-be in safely delivering a healthy baby boy!!
