The North Chicago Police Department and its Juvenile Division Det. Rollins participated in Youth Summit, Hosted by Waukegan Township and held at the College of Lake County (Grayslake Campus). Among other great breakout sessions, students were provided an opportunity to address a police panel with any questions, concerns, or experiences regarding their community and Law Enforcement, and what can be done better on both ends. NCPD embraces opportunities such as these to engage the youth, to prepare for a better tomorrow.

It's with great sadness the City of North Chicago announces the passing of Animal Warden, Dana Deutsch. Dana's service began in '12, and her impact was felt immediately throughout the city. Through Dana's dedication, passion, and service; she was able to repair a division of the Police department that, at the time, was in desperate need of change.
