RAD, which stands for Rape Aggression Defense is a self defense class taught exclusively to women. It has gained national recognition as a premier self defense program for women. RAD’s core four principles of awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance are coupled with basic physical defensive moves, all of which when combined, afford a woman the option to defend herself. The class consists of 12 hours of instruction. The classes are taught at the Crestview Hills City Building / Police Department, 50 Town Center Boulevard, Crestview Hills, KY 41017. There is no fee to attend the class. For more information or to enroll in a class, please email Det. Amy Chapman at achapman@lpchpd.com. For additional information about RAD, please visit their website www.rad-systems.com. Next Class: November 6th, 7th, 13th and 14th Must attend all classes 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm each night

The officers of the Lakeside Park-Crestview Hills Police Department would like to take this moment to thank the citizens of our cities and local communities for their gracious acts supporting the job we do. Your kind words of appreciation and encouragement, as well as your heartwarming acts of gratitude have strengthened our belief that our service to you does not go unnoticed. In spite of the current, negative impression of policing which sometimes feels like the majority opinion, the reality is that the silent majority, you, the citizens we serve, have found your voices and have made your message clear. Thank you!
