Avoid 400 block of Spencer School Rd

The LaRue County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking for the person in this picture. His name is Alan Howard Keith. He is 5’8”, weighs around 180 lbs., brown hair, and blue eyes. Mr. Keith is currently wanted for fleeing and evading law enforcement officers in LaRue County. Please contact us at 2703583120 or 2703583122. He may possibly be in the Salam Lake Road area.

Our office will be participating in the nationwide campaign Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over. This campaign started on August 17th and will run through September 3rd. Our office along with other local, and state agencies will be out looking for impaired drivers, as well as other violations. We will also be conducting safety check points during this campaign.

Our office has received calls from the public about a scam involving Dish Network. They are using your last 4 of your social security number to have you send them money. They are wanting you to send a personal check to another address other than Dish Network. This is a scam, please do not respond to this phone call.

If you have recently bought any items from the person in this picture in the past month, please call our office at 270-358-3120. It is possible that you could be in possession of stolen property. He was selling items at the flea market in Elizabethtown on 7-28-18.

The LaRue County Sheriff’s Office is working on a burglary where the below four wheeler was stolen. It was stolen from LG&E Road around 4:05 am on April 21st. It is a 2004 Honda 450, and has the number 50 on the front. If anyone has any information regarding this four wheeler please give our office a call at 270-358-3120.

Again this year our office has the opportunity to take 5 boys and 5 girls ages 8-11 from low income homes to camp at the Sheriff's Ranch. This is a wonderful opportunity that is free of charge for these kids that otherwise might not get the chance. Transportation to and from camp is provided by our office. The only requirement is that the child qualified for free or reduced meals in the last school year. You will need to provide proof of this from the school system. If you know of anyone that might be interested please share this information with them. Boys camp is June 24-June 29. Girls camp is July 15-July 20. The LaRue County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the theft of the trailer shown below. It was taken from a barn on KY-357 (Munfordville Road). If anyone has seen this trailer or may know where it is, please call the LaRue County Sheriff’s Office at 270-358-3120.

Our office is currently working a vehicle theft from the Herbert Howell Road area. Below is a picture of the vehicle that was stolen. It is a Ford F-350, Harley Davidson Edition, crew cab, black in color, with a black topper. It has a farm license plate of 9523FJ. If anyone knows the whereabouts of this vehicle, or comes in contact with it please notify the authorities, or our office at 270-358-3120.

There are many roads in the county that have water “ponding” so please be careful. Blanton Road in Athertonville is closed due to the high water. We will try to update this post as more road closings come in.

Our office is currently working a theft of the boat shown below. It was stolen from the 4700 block of North L and N Turnpike, and is a 1995 Maxum Bowrider. If anyone has any information about this boat please give our office a call at 270-358-3120.

The LaRue County Sheriff’s Office is working several cases of identity theft/fraudulent use of credit cards. We need the public’s assistance in identifying these suspects. The vehicle is a white, 4 door pickup with a topper on the truck bed, and damage to the driver side, right behind the cab. The male and vehicle were photographed here in Hodgenville. The female was photographed at Walmart in Campbellsville using a stolen credit card. If anyone has any information as to who these people are please give us a call at 270-358-3120.

Our office is currently working a stolen vehicle case. Below is some pictures of the vehicle that was stolen. The theft happened today sometime between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm on Lincoln Farm Road in Hodgenville. We are investigating a burglary that occured on October 7th at Lincoln Parkway Rebuildables. We need your help locating the people in these photos. They are persons of interest in this crime. Thanks to LaRue County & Hodgenville fire departments for hosting the first responders cook out today. The LaRue County Sheriff's office and their family's had a great time. We all have to respond to a lot of different situations throughout our county, and see people in serious moments. It is great that first responders can come together and fellowship together , with our families.
