Congratulations to K-9 Officer Josh Ison and Dex on graduating today! Both have been through a tough 6 weeks of training and are now ready for patrol! Thanks to Officer Ison for his dedication and thank you to his family for allowing him to be away for 6 weeks!!

The tornado siren will be tested today at noon along with the cable override and public alert system.

Trick or Treat Wednesday October 31, 6pm to 8pm!

We are at maximum capacity this morning for our search efforts. Check back at noon today at the court house for the next round will be sent out at that time.

Information: Those wanting to assist with searching tomorrow will have to wear long pants, long sleeve shirt and boots that have good ankle support. We are asking that they meet at the Court House to sign in and get assignments at 8:00 a.m.

***UPDATE*** He has been identified as Trcore Grant, 26 years old. He is in the company of 18 year old Serena Ross. They are driving a 2016 Chrysler 200, maroon in color. It has a Kentucky registration plate 031-VGC. Both have active warrants! If you see them, please contact local law enforcement. Please share!! Please help us identify this guy. Drive Sober or Get Pulled over campaign runs from August 17, 2018 through September 3, 2018. We will be looking for impaired drivers, so use a sober driver!!

***As a reminder MSU move in day starts tomorrow and Rowan county schools start Thursday. Please be patient as traffic will be heavy.***

People have received phone calls from someone claiming to be with the Rowan County health department, asking them if they would like to join a pain management study. The health department is not making these phone calls and is not conducting a pain management study.
