THANK YOU to all the sponsors, donors, attendees and volunteers of the 2018 Spaghetti Dinner!!! The fundraiser this year was amazing. The Midland County DARE program is so fortunate to have such a generous and supportive community, working together to make a difference for our youth.

Good morning Midland! Mount Pleasant Police and Central Michigan University Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on CMU campus this morning in a dormitory. The suspect is still at large, last known to have left the scene on foot. He is a light skinned black male, approximately 19 years old, 5'9, last seen wearing a blue hoodie and yellow jeans. It is possible he has removed the hoodie. We are aware that some of the local schools are taking proactive safety measures and going into a secure mode. At this point, we do not have any information that would indicate the suspect is a threat to the Midland area. If you see this subject, consider him armed and dangerous, do not approach the suspect and call 911 immediately. As always, if you see something suspicious, call 911 and we will have law enforcement investigate.
