Since we dispatch for Coquille Fire & Rescue and get frequent questions: UPDATE TO BURNING/ FIRE RESTRICTIONS IN COQUILLE Fire restrictions have been moved back to moderate. If you live in city limits of Coquille this means that only burn barrels and small 3'x3' open fires are permitted between the hours of 6 AM and 10 AM.

While you might have been sleeping 💤 last night... CBPD officers responded with Coos Bay Fire Department personnel to a report of a suspicious fire and smoke inside of a parked vehicle. CBFD quickly took care of the vehicle and the cause of the fire is under investigation. 🚔 🚒
