This is the same system used to send tornado warnings and Amber Alerts directly to your cell phone. PBPD found a wishing well at the Westside Elementary book fair. Children that wanted a book could write their name and the name of the book they wished for and drop it in the wishing well. Officer Fay along with Officers from Days B and Dispatchers, came together and donated $100 to purchase books from the wishing well. They were able to purchase 11 books for 11 children that had dropped their wishes into the wishing well. Great Day to Connect.Serve.Impact

Traffic Officers are on scene at the intersection of Eldron Blvd and Godfrey RD SE in reference to a crash involving a vehicle vs pedestrian. A 12 year old student from Odyssey Charter Jr/Sr was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle was not cited but the investigation is on going.
