Big thanks to the Manatee Kennel Club for another “Paw-some” donation. Approximately $14,000 will pay for the purchase and outfitting of “Phantom”, our newest Patrol K9. The 19-month old Belgian Malinois is already training with his handler, Deputy Keith Sutton and should be ready to hit the streets by the beginning of next year. Phantom is the third K9 in 3 years the Kennel Club has donated to the Sheriff’s Office. #K9Phantom #ManateeKennelClub

**Update** Because of tips from you, we were able to identify this suspect and make an arrest. We truly appreciate your help, as does the victim who had their property returned to them. #yoursupportmatters **Palmetto Estates subdivision** Do you know this gentleman? The backpack you see in this video was found abandoned on the sidewalk chock full of stolen property. We’d love to chat with him. Yes, we did have a residential burglary in Palmetto Estates.
