It is with great sorrow that The Richmond County Sheriff's Office hears of the sudden passing of Augusta Commissioner Andrew Jefferson. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family. Commissioner Jefferson was a true supporter of law enforcement and his death is a great loss to our city.
