Jesup Police Department has decided to feed 24 families this Thanksgiving! We are asking for the community's assistance in finding these 24 families in need by contacting the Jesup Police Department Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Thank you!

We hope you enjoyed your self and learned something about firearms. Upon your request are are working on getting T-Shirts for the firearms participants to purchase. CURFEW NOTIFICATION *UPDATE* The curfew has been lifted and normal vehicular and pedestrian traffic may resume immediately. We appreciate everyone's cooperation with keeping the community safe.

CURFEW NOTIFICATION Due to Hurricane Michael, a mandatory curfew will go into effect tonight at midnight and will be in effect until noon on 10/11/2018. The curfew is effective for the City of Jesup and all of Wayne County. No vehicular or pedestrian traffic will be allowed on the streets or roadways. The only exception will be for those traveling to/from work.

The City of Jesup Police Department is accepting applications for a certified Police Officer. Requirements and application may be obtained at Jesup City Hall, 162 E. Cherry Street, now through October 22nd, 2018. The City of Jesup is an equal opportunity employer.

Our Women's Firearm Safety Course will be led by Todd Wise and Jesup Police Firearm Instructors. On Monday June 18, 2018 Jesup Police Department welcomed our newest Officers, Patricia Sapp and Ben Doomes. They were both sworn in by City Attorney Mike Conner and will begin their FTO program today.

Community Clean-Up Day was a huge success! 10 loads of trash were hauled to the recycling center for disposal. Thank you Chief Lewis, Assistant Chief Mike Lane, Captain Perry Morgan, Captain Alex Reddish, and all the members of the Jesup Police Departement who volunteered their time to keep our city clean!

As of April 2nd, 2018 Jesup Police Department will no longer accept partial payments through nCourt. Payments will continue to be accepted through our main office Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00 PM. We're sorry for any inconvenience.

The Jesup Police Department is seeking Certified Police Officers to join our professional team. Pay will be adjusted based on experience. Benefits include employee health insurance, City retirement and Law Enforcement retirement paid in full by employer. The Jesup Police Department also provides a take home car for all officers who live within Wayne County. If interested, applications may be picked up at Jesup City Hall.
