Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews are working to repair a 6-inch main break on Kealaolu Ave., between Aukai Ave. and Farmers Rd. The work is forcing the closure of a portion of the ewa-bound lane on Kealaolu Ave. The break, which was reported by Honolulu Police Department earlier this morning, has left 22 homes without water service. A water wagon has been set up at 951 Kealaolu Ave. Further updates will be issued as the situation changes.

Crews continue to repair a broken 8-inch main on Hahani St., near the intersection of Kailua Rd. Repair is forcing the closure of mauka-bound lanes from Kailua Rd. onto Hahani St. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and drive with caution in the area. Repair is expected to continue overnight. Only one customer -- the post office -- is without water due to the break.
