The holiday season is a time for giving and cheer, but it can also be a deadly time on our roadways. With holiday parties and other social events, there are many opportunities for people to consume alcohol. Honolulu police officers will be setting up impaired driver checkpoints at unannounced times and locations from November 1, to December 31, 2018 as part of the department’s ongoing efforts to reduce the number of traffic injuries and deaths.
