Ongoing Narcotics Investigation by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office
*Since January 1st, 2016 the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office has conducted four separate Search Warrants within the County. 12 Arrest have been made for illegal drug crimes that include Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Marijuana, and Prescription Drugs.
*On January 2nd, 2016 a Search Warrant was conducted at 1006 13th Ave South in Denison, Iowa. As the result of the execution of the warrant seized for evidence was Methamphetamine, Drug Paraphernalia, and a Firearm. The Following individual 51 year old Raul Casillas-Martinez of Denison was charged with Delivery of a controlled substance Methamphetamine less than 5 grams a (Class C Felony), Possession of a Controlled substance Methamphetamine a (Serious Misdemeanor) and Drug Paraphernalia a (Simple Misdemeanor).
*On January 7th, 2016 a traffic stop was conducted by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, as the result of the traffic stop 22 year old Eduardo Daniel Murillo-Manriquez of Storm Lake was charged with Driving While Bared a (Aggravated Misdemeanor), Open Container ( Simple Misdemeanor), Possession of Methamphetamine (Serious Misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia( Simple Misdemeanor).
*On January 7th 2016 a Search Warrant was conducted at 516 East Fulton Street Dow City, Iowa. As the result of the search warrant Methamphetamine, Packing Materials, Scales were seized and taken as evidence. The individuals Charged in this case are as follows: Raul Casillas-Martinez, age 51of Denison was charged with Possession with intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine a (Class B Felony) and Drug Paraphernalia a (Simple Misdemeanor). Edgar Giovanny Espinoza, age 22 of Denison for two charges of Possession with intent to deliver a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine a (Class B Felony and also a Class C Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia a (Simple Misdemeanor). Ricardo Rosales, age 19 of Denison was charged with Gathering where Controlled Substances are used, a (Class D Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a (Simple Misdemeanor). Jose Rivera Zaragoza age 21, of Denison was charged with Gathering where Controlled Substances are used a (Class D Felony) and Drug Paraphernalia a (Simple Misdemeanor).
*On January 7th, 2016 another search warrant was conducted at 42 Ash Street in Ricketts, Iowa. As a result of this search warrant, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Marijuana, prescription pills, scales, packaging materials, and drug paraphernalia were seized. John Willroth age 51, of Ricketts was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver a controlled substance Methamphetamine a (Class C Felony) Possession of Cocaine a (Serious Misdemeanor), Possession of Marijuana a (Serious Misdemeanor), Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance Oxycodone a (Serious Misdemeanor), Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance Tramadol a (Serious Misdemeanor), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia a (Simple Misdemeanor). David Farrow age 25, of Charter Oak was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine a (Serious Misdemeanor) and Possession of Marijuana a (Serious Misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia a (Simple Misdemeanor).
*On January 8th, 2016 a search warrant was conducted at 304 South School Street in Dow City, Iowa. As a result of the search warrant, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, scales, packaging materials, and drug paraphernalia were seized. David Wingrove age 48, of Dow City was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine a (Class B Felony) Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp a (Class D Felony), Possession of Marijuana a (Serious Misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia a (Simple Misdemeanor). Amber Nelson age 31, of Denison was charged with Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense a (Serious Misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia a (Simple Misdemeanor). Tahara Johnston age 28, of Denison was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia a (Simple Misdemeanor).
As always, all subjects are innocent until, or unless, proven guilty in a court of law.
This is an ongoing investigation and I anticipate that there may be more charges filed in regards to these cases.
My Deputies know my feelings on team work and that the outcome of this investigation shows exactly why it is important to have team work. I would like to thank each and everyone of my Deputies for the countless hours that it took on this investigation and they as well as i know that there is much to be done in this county in regards to narcotics but you can bet that my Deputies will give 100 percent on getting the job done, God Bless them and keep them safe
