The Monticello Police Department is seeking donations to repaint the steel flag on the 9/11 Memorial. The memorial was dedicated in 2011 and has proudly stood as a reminder of the tragic events of September 11th 2001. As you can see by the pictures, 7 years has taken a toll on the brilliant finish on the flag. If you would like to make a contribution to the project you can drop donations off at the Monticello Emergency Response Center or to Monticello City Hall. We thank you for your support.
