Once again this year members of the Mahaska County Sheriff's Office will be participating in "no shave November" as a fundraiser for charity. The charity selected this year for the donations is the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Anyone wishing to donate to this fundraiser is encouraged to contact any member of the Mahaska County Sheriff's Office. Your donations are deeply appreciated.

Mahaska County Deputies, Reserves, and Posse have been at the Southern Iowa Fair this week providing security and rendering aid whenever needed. This is exactly how Deputy McMillan and Destiny became new friends Wednesday night after she got hurt. We are happy to report that Destiny is fine. We would enjoy for all of you to stop by and say “hi” before the fair is over so that we can get to know you, too!
