Our office and dispatch center is receiving numerous calls regarding the picture of the dog that was posted. We would like to thank you for your concern and provide an update to our citizens and the Facebook community. JPD was finally able to make contact with an adult at the location and the dog was transported to our animal shelter. The dog appeared happy and full of energy but was also obviously skinny. Our animal shelter staff will have the dog checked by a veterinarian. After the vet visit, we will determine the best course of action. Again, thank you for your concern. JPD
