This weekend is the EIU Homecoming Parade. Please make sure you are not parked along the parade route between 3am-12pm (noon). Vehicles parked along the parade route during this time will be towed. The parade itself starts at 9:30 a.m. with a short foot race preceding it at 9:00 a.m. Please avoid the parade route starting at 9:00 a.m.. The route is the same as years past. North on 7th St., west on Monroe, south on 6th St. to Polk, west on Polk to Division, south on Division. The parade will cross Lincoln Ave. at 7th Street and at Division St. so expect traffic delays.
