The North Shore Mosquito Abatement District will be conducting targeted adult mosquito control operations in portions of Glenview, Golf, Morton Grove, Skokie and Wilmette on Monday, July 9, 2018, between the hours of 8:00 PM and 2:00 AM, weather permitting. THERE'S A NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN! Dennis McEnerney was sworn in as the new Golf Police Chief today. Chief McEnerney comes from the Village of Niles where he served for 38 years and recently retired as their Chief of Police. Chief McEnerney also served as the Commander of the regional Major Crimes Task Force which investigates Homicides and Non-parental kidnappings. He brings a wealth of law enforcement experience with him and is looking forward to serving the Village of Golf. Please welcome him to the Village when you see him!

Great arrest and good info from the Lake County Sheriff's Department. These offenders are commonly in the Golf, Glenview, and Morton Grove areas as well. Be alert and call 911 if you see something suspicious.
