Careful in your travels , North -South Roads are drifting pretty good and getting very icy.

Since the season is upon us. 74-150 prohibits parked on snow route when two or more inches of snow accumulation. $60.00 fine and vehicle can be towed at owners expense.

State Route 72 between Kirkland and Kingston slushy and slippery. Glidden didn’t seem to bad. Slow down and you should be fine in your travels.

This guy was picked up in Rood Road area, he can be claimed at the Barn on Baseline.

On October 24 2018 at 9:53 p.m. an officer with the Kingston Police Department stopped a vehicle on Five Points Road and Eric circle . The vehicle was driven by Anthony Gum, age 32 of Kirkland . Mr. Gum was charged with the following : Speeding Driving under the influence of alcohol Mr. Gum was transported to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office and released to the Corrections Division 11:30 pm. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On October 21,2018 at 12:22 a.m. an Officer with the Kingston Police Department stopped a vehicle on Route 72 for a tail light violation . After contact with the driver Jonathan Wheeland, age 30, of Sycamore , was charged with the following : Driving with only one tail light Driving under the influence of alcohol. Mr. Wheeland was transported to the Kingston Police Department where he posted bond and was released with a future court date. • All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

👻👻💀💀🎃🎃☠️☠️👽👽🤡🤡 The Kingston Police Department would like to inform everyone that the hours for Trick or Treat on Halloween will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday October 31st. If you wish to hand out treats please leave your porch light on . Most importantly PLEASE use caution while driving through the neighborhoods during these hours as the streets can become very congested with pedestrians and vehicles . In the past two weeks we have noticed more 🦌 deer on the move than in the past couple years . This morning there were close to a dozen (12) deer 🦌 in the area of Five Points road and the train tracks. We have seen increased numbers in the Glidden and Rood Road area as well as 72/ Glidden area. Please be careful in your travels.
