The Sesser Police department would like to take a moment and recognize the life of a fallen hero. Ventura County Sgt. Ron Helus’ career was tragically ended in the line of duty. Our thoughts and sympathy go out to his family and his fellow officers.

🎇This young lady was found wondering on the back roads between Benton and Rend Lake. For fear she would be hit by a car she was picked up and dropped off to hang out with us here at the 🚔Sesser Police Department🚓. She is a friendly Brindle 🐶pup🐶 dressed in a stylish black collar. Please help us get her back 🏡home🏡. Like and Share to help get the word out👀. Please SHARE, SHARE, SHARE!! If she is not able to find her way home by morning she will have to relocate to Franklin County Animal Control. We want her to go home to her family! 👨‍👧‍👦

In reference to the **Saran Wrap Air Soft**Incident. Earlier tonight Sesser PD responded to a report of a person who had been saran wrapped to a chair and was being shot at with Air Soft guns. SPD arrived and spoke with an adult male who stated that he had volunteered for it and that no one had actually shot at him...yet. We definitely discourage doing something like this and good job to Officer Clemons for his quick response/handling of the situation. He had it Wrapped up in no time🚨🚔🚨

The Sesser Police Department was honored to introduce one of our K9 Officers, Diesel, to the Sesser 4H club. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone and discussing some safety topics. Diesel loved stealing the spotlight by demonstrating his techniques and skills. Thank You for this opportunity to come out and share with the club.
