Well folks, looks like some snow coming our way. PLEASE remember to slow down and leave plenty of room between you and the car in front of you.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Sgt. Helus and our Brothers and Sisters of the Ventura Sheriff’s Office. Rest easy, brother. We got it from here.

Goodbye day light savings! Don’t forget to set your clocks back tonight!! Oh-and change those batteries in the smoke detectors too!

We would like to thank the students and staff at Ellis Elementary School for inviting us and the Round Lake Fire Dept for lunch for their Red Ribbon Week. We had such a great time talking with the students!

With the horrible accident in Indiana that took the lives of 3 children, and now another in Mississippi, we would like remind drivers of the laws regarding stopped school buses. Please always use caution around school buses, and NEVER pass a school bus with its stop arm and red lights activated. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those children and all the first responders that were on those horrific scenes.

We had to share this from our friends from C-Ville PD. Well played!

Several unlocked cars were entered two nights ago on the west side of our town. One of the residents were able to capture this suspect on their home security video. If you have any information, please send us MP or contact Ofc. Ryan Kennedy at 847-546-2127. Please remember to LOCK your cars and garage doors, and contact the non-emergency number 847-270-9111 if you observe anything suspicious.

Happy Halloween everyone!!

Did you happen to see us around the town yesterday Trick or Treating? Our officers were all over passing out candy to kids having a hauntingly good time! 🎃 🍬 👻 🧟‍♂️

Thanks Commander Barr for helping handing out candy to these lucky kids!!

On Monday, Ofc Ryan Kennedy stopped by Ellis School while on patrol and was challenged by some of the students in a little soccer match. Ofc. Kennedy was no match for the the speed and agility of the students!

Our thoughts and prayers are with our Brothers and Sisters of the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
