With school starting next week, it is important to remember and know when to STOP for school buses! On two-lane roadways or highways, vehicles traveling in both directions must stop. On mulit-lane roadways, and divided roadways or highways, vehicles behind the bus must stop. Though, vehicles traveling in the opposite direction can proceed with caution. It is important to be aware of children crossing any roadway! And remember, it is unlawful for a driver to pass a school bus that has its stop signal arm extended. Let's have a wonderful and safe school year! Photo credit: Round Lake Beach Police Department
