I have received complaints of motorist failing to stop long enough to allow pedestrians to cross in the marked crosswalks. This occurs mostly on and around the Main Street area. As a reminder you must stop and allow pedestrians the right of way to cross. I will be directing our officers to begin stricter enforcement right away. It was reported a child was almost injured.
