POLICE BLOTTER 10-25-18 = 11-01-18 10-26-18 10:32 Dwight Police Officer met with a subject at Dwight PD. The male subject stated his vehicle had been vandalized, while parked at his residence, the previous night. The vehicle had a caustic substance poured from end to end, causing significant damage. 10-26-18 14:19 Richard Becker 70 of Dwight was arrested for an In-State Warrant. He posted bond and was given a new court date. 10-28-18 16:35 Dwight Police were dispatched to 324 W. Mazon Ave. Jordan L. Thomas 20 of Kankakee advised she was backing her 2011 Ford and struck a parked and unoccupied 2013 Ford, owned by Heather Bettsworth of Gardner.

Police Blotter 10-18-18 = 10-25-18 10-18-18 20:59 Dwight Police were dispatched to the 300 block of W. Williams to speak with a subject about a possible violation of Order of Protection. 10-21-18 00:24 Dwight Police were dispatched to 600 W Mazon for damage to a gas pump. The clerk advised Dwight Officer, a subject had pumped and purchased gasoline. The subject had forgotten to take the nozzle out of the gas tank, causing the hose to disconnect. 10-22-18 08:51 Dwight Police were dispatched to meet with a subject at her work site. The subject advised she believes someone had tampered with her vehicle, by putting an unknown substance in the gas tank. The vehicle had been parked in the 200 block of N. Washington.

Police Blotter 10-11-18 = 10-18-18 10-12-18 17:17 Arrested was Brian G Thacker 32 of Mazon was arrested for an In-State Warrant. Thacker posted bond and was given a new court date. 10-12-18 10:22 Dwight Police assisted the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force with the arrest of Joshua M Newell, 25 of Dwight for an In-State Warrant. 10-15-18 03:53 Dwight Police were called to the 300 block of Spencer for the report of missing items from a house. The remains under investigation. 10-15-18 16:23 Dwight Police Officer was called to 100 block of Watters Dr. to speak with a subject who had lost some items. A good Samaritan had found the missing items and returned them to the grateful citizen. 10-16-18 09:08 Dwight Police assisted Pontiac Police with the traffic stop of a stolen vehicle from Pontiac, on I-55. The arrestee, Roy L. Jenkins 39, was taken into custody and turned over to Pontiac Police Dept. 10-16-18 09:09 Dwight Police were called to the 400 block of South St. for a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered by Carol Stream PD. The offender Jonathan Robinson 49, was seen driving the vehicle and taken into custody. He was charged with operating a vehicle with a Revoked Driver’s License, a Parole Violation Warrant, and Theft of a Motor Vehicle. 10-16-18 11:00 Dwight Police received a call from a resident in the 400 block of N. Chicago St. The resident advised they had received an email scam demanding money. The case is under investigation. 10-18-18 08:24 Dwight Police were called to Jensen’s BP. DPD was advised a car Jensen’s had towed for Illinois State Police, had been stolen during the night. The case in under investigation

10-09-18 0030 200 BLOCK OF E DELAWARE ST. ARRESTED WAS AMY E MUNNICH, 27 OF BRADLEY. SHE WAS CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, WAS ARRESTED FOR AN IN-STATE WARRANT AND TAKEN TO LIV CO JAIL. SHE ALSO RECEIVED A CIVIL CITATION FOR POSSESSION OF CANNABIS.

Police Blotter 10-04-18 = 10-11-18 10-05-18 12:03 Dwight Police were dispatched to 10 E Northbrook Dr. for damage. The clerk advised a subject had pre-paid for fuel. Upon leaving the parking lot, the vehicle struck the concrete gas pump barrier. The vehicle departed the area. 10-08-18 18:14 Dwight Police were dispatched to Dwight Public Services Complex. The officer met with a subject, for a custody exchange of minor children issue. 10-10-18 18:28 Arrested was Terry L. Adams 48 of Dwight, on an In-State Warrant. Adams was transported to Livingston Co. Jail.

Michele Guerjan of Wenoa, backing (Chevy) struck a parked and unattended Saturn. The Saturn belongs to Jessica Dzwonkoski of Dwight. 09-30-18 Dwight Police were dispatched to 900 N. Union St. for a Domestic Battery. Arrested was David A. Berkey (no address available). Berkey was taken to Grundy Co. Jail.

POLICE BLOTTER 09-20-18 = 09-27-18 09-20-18 01:39 Jodi L. Kapper 42 of Bloomington was arrested for Driving While Suspended, and Illegal Transportation of Alcohol. Kapper also received Civil Citations for Possession of Cannabis and Paraphernalia 09-21-18 14:07 Dwight Police were dispatched to Love’s for employee theft. Arrested were Brayton Kilcoyne 22, and Gillian Turner 20, both of Dwight. 09-21-18 17:49 Dwight Police were dispatched to 508 S Union for solicitors. Darryl Mason 31 of Bellwood, IL was arrested for an In-State Warrant, and issued an Ordinance Violation ticket for soliciting without a permit. Also issued an Ordinance Violation ticket was Kealia Harrison 24 of South Roxana, IL. Mason was transported to Livingston Co. Jail. 09-22-18 16:24 Dwight Police were dispatched to 600 W. Mazon Ave. for a subject who drove off after pumping $34.75 worth of gasoline. 09-24-18 11:05 Rhonda Bruemmer 40 no current residence; was arrested for an In-State Warrant. She posted bond and was issued a new court date.

POLICE BLOTTER 09-13-18 = 09-20-18 09-13-18 18:19 Dwight Police arrested Richard A Becker 70, of Dwight on an In-State Warrant. Mr. Becker was transported to Livingston Co. Jail. 09-15-18 13:14 Dwight Police arrested Kasey M Kemper 42 of Dwight on an In-State Warrant. Mr. Kemper was transported to Grundy Co. Jail.

POLICE BLOTTER 08-30-18 – 09-06-18 08-31-18 08:37 In State Warrant arrest: Jodi Kapper, Bloomington, IL posted bond and was given a new court date. 08-31-18 11:02 Dwight Police were dispatched to 100 Watters Dr. for a vehicle having just been stolen. Bernice M. Casey of Pontiac, Il advised she left her car running, while she ran into the store, for a moment. When she returned her 2013 Dodge was missing. The car was recovered in Gardner, IL on 09-05-18. 08-31-18 16:32 Dwight Police were dispatched to 110 Watters Dr. for a theft complaint. Matthew Weissmann 18 of Dwight was arrested. Weissmann was taken to DPD, given a court date and released on bond. 09-03-18 10:05 Dwight Police were dispatched to 100 block of Bannon Dr. Officer met with Jaron R. Scheid. Scheid advised some unknown person had taken his 2017 Honda from his driveway. The car was recovered in Coal City on 09-05-18. A suspect has been taken into custody. 09-04-18 08:08 Dwight Police were called to the 200 block of Scott Dr for damage to a screen on the residence. 09-04-18 11:24 Dwight Police were dispatched to the 600 block of W Mazon Ave. The manager of the store advised a credit card type “skimmer” was found on their card reader.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR KEYS IN YOUR VEHICLE. Our agency has had three cars stolen over the past month (two this week). One from a business in the middle of the day. It was left running and the owner ran in briefly. The second from Bannon Dr over night. If you see suspicious activity call the police.

Police Blotter 08-16-18 = 08-23-18 08-17-18 10:01 Joshua A. Downey was cited for littering in the 600 block of W. Mazon Ave. 08-17-18 15:56 Dwight Public works advised DPD of a stop sign at the corner of Spencer and Morris Rd. appeared to have been shot. The damaged sign was replaced. 08-20-18 23:14 Dwight Police were dispatched to the 900 block of N. Union, for a disruptive subject. Police removed subject and discovered Kelly M. Robinson 35 of Dwight, had an outstanding warrant out of Grundy Co. She was transported to Grundy Co. Jail. 08-21-18 14:06 Dwight Police were called to the 200 block of W. North for a Domestic Disturbance. The case was referred to the State’s Attorney’s office.

Police Blotter 07-26-18 = 08-02-18 07-26-18 17:56 Dwight Police met with a 18 year old male who reported an incident (possible disorderly conduct) having occurred in the 600 block of N. Chicago, earlier in the week. The incident was sent to the State’s Attorney’s Office for review. 07-27-18 06:22 06:22 Dwight Police were advised of a failure to pay for gasoline in Braidwood. Upon contacting the owner, it was learned the vehicle had been stolen from the 400 block of North Union St. The incident is still under investigation. 07-27-18 18:53 18:53 Dwight Police arrested Rebecca Budd 20 of Wisconsin, on a warrant. 07-27-18 13:06 Dwight Police were notified of solicitors in the 300 block of East Seminole St. The solicitors had no permits and were issued ordinance tickets. One of the group, Eric E. Stoker 24, of Peoria, was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. 07-27-18 22:30 Dwight Police conducted a traffic stop. Hannah Yonan 21 of Niles was issued a written warning for speeding and civil citations for possession of cannabis and paraphernalia 07-31-18 18:48 Dwight Police Conducted a traffic stop. Amy E. Munnich 27 of Bradley was issued a speeding citation as well as civil citations for possession of cannabis and paraphernalia. 08-01-18 15:50 Dwight Police and Livingston Co Sherriff’s office assisted Grundy Co. in the search and capture of 2 males, in the vicinity of Campus Rd. The offenders were taken into custody at approximately 6 PM. The males had stolen 2 vehicles in a 5-hour time frame.

Dwight PD in cooperation with Dwight High School and the Law and Justice Commission are hosting a train the trainer course for ALiCE. ALiCE is a nation wide program providing schools, businesses, and medical facilities response options during an active shooter event. The pictures below are from today’s training.

Police Blotter 07-19-18 = 07-26-18 07-20-18 Pavan C. Patel, 20 of Naperville, was arrested for civil possession of drug equipment. 07-20-18 Lee C Edwards, 24 of Kankakee, was arrested for civil possession of cannabis.
