He was found walking in the 700 block of Alby Street around 2:00pm today and we are trying to find his parents. Yesterday a Community Panel brought boxing champion, Devon"The Great" Alexander, to Lovett's Soul Food to meet, and chat with, our community members. Chief Simmons was on hand with some cool treats as well! We were happy to be a part of this event!

Today we said goodbye to another long-time member of the APD Family. PFC David Penney gave his final 10-42 and many active and retired officers joined to wish him well. Good luck, Officer Penney, and THANK YOU for your loyal service!

It was a great weekend at the PB&PA Alton Unit #14 state softball tournament. Congratulations to our local guys who WON the tournament and thank you to all of the sponsors who made it possible!
