Good morning! Some of you may have received this letter. Along with the poor grammar, the random use of font sizes and colors, and so very, very many clip art "certifications" - this letter is informing you lucky "stake winners" that you are a winner of the Mega Lottery Picker 2018 Draw! To collect your prize, they're going to ask you to send a money order to cover the 5% of your prize amount, as well as your bank account information, social security number (for tax purposes), and other personal information. Needless to say, this is a scam. If you've received this letter, please throw it away. Variations of this scam have been around for years, and people who fall for it are hit two ways - first the money order they send and then their bank account is compromised. As always, please be careful about giving out any personal information. Remember that if it's too good to be true, then it probably is. If you have any questions, please contact your local law enforcement agency.

The block party for Limestone Easterseals will be going on tonight from 2pm to midnight. Don't forget to stop by and show your support. The part of Adams st between Keller and Kickapoo Creak will be blocked off please use alternative routes.

Chief Fengel and the Bartonville Police Department would like to congratulate Kathy on her retirement. Thank you for your years of service.

Saturday September 22,2018 Block party for Easter Seals.

*****this post is out dated***** Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident on Rt 24 just North of Mendenhall Boat Ramp. Please avoid the area and take an alternative route. Rt 24 will be closed for an extended period of time.

This event is taking place tomorrow. Order to go or eat in, but you must present the attached flier to support your local Marching Rockets 🚀

We snapped this picture last week while Chief Fengel was out helping Bartonville Grade School students safely cross the road.

Community Event this Sunday.

Happening tonight

Chief Fengel would like to publicly recognize the dedication and hard work of those Bartonville Police Department officers who diligently pursued investigative leads related to 13, recent burglaries to motor vehicles and theft of vehicles in Bartonville and Limestone Township. Bartonville PD’s efforts led to the discovery of previously unknown information/evidence that was shared with area police agencies and assisted them in the identification and arrest of the offenders. Though the recent cases have been solved, Chief Fengel wants to remind everyone to never leave valuable items in your vehicle and always lock the doors when you exit the car!

Chief Fengel was handing out some of the golden baseballs to neighborhood kids for this weekends game. Thank you Vonachen family and Peoria Chiefs for this great opportunity for the children.

Reminder this event is taking place this afternoon.
