The East Moline Police Department participated in the DEA Prescription Drug Takeback initiative this past Saturday. We collected 100 lbs of unwanted drugs with an estimated illegal street value of $26,813. By turning them in together we kept unwanted drugs off the streets and possibly saving lives. Thank you East Moline residents.

No Shave November has begun ! 12 police departments in the Quad Cities area will participate in the Battle of the Beards to help fight cancer. Officers will donate money to be allowed to grow beards this November in order to raise money for Tudis Tribe and Gildas Club. This year's goal is to raise $25,000. Let the beard growing commence!

We hope everyone had a happy All Hallows Eve. We enjoyed seeing all the great costumes which were promptly rewarded with delicious Snickers bars.
