This is one of the many hazards police officers across the nation face every day. Fentanyl has become an epidemic that not only threatens first responders, but families of those addicted to opioids as well. If you suspect an opioid overdose, remember that the smallest amount of fentanyl based drugs in contact with skin is a risk. Good Samaritan laws help save lives and being honest with first responders when they arrive can save their life and your loved ones as well.
