****URGENT**** On April 30th, 2015, at approximately 11 AM, the Lena Police Department received a telephone call of a suspicious person in the area of Meadowridge and Townline Road. The person was described as a white male, late 20's-early 30's, 5'09-6' wearing a baseball hat, polo shirt and blue jeans and was driving a silver Oldsmobile Alero or similar vehicle. The subject rang the front door bell multiple times in immediate succession followed by "pounding" on the front door. They then walked to the back, onto the deck, slid the screen door open, and began knocking on the patio door. The subject then attempted to open the door, but the door was locked. He then went to the front of the home, ran to his vehicle and left at a high rate of speed. He left the area going E/B on Townline Road. Anyone with information, please contact the Lena Police Department. Also, please keep all doors locked and report any suspicious activity immediately.

Just a reminder....

Hopefully everyone had a fun and safe Valentine's Day. We are thinking warm thoughts and are planning a bike rodeo for May. A bike rodeo is a skills event for children where we will have the children go through different "courses" while teaching bike handling skills and how to be safe when riding on the streets. We will post more information as the date and other details get finalized.
