Tomorrow we remember the thousands who lost their lives that fateful September day that turned our country upside down. We have persevered as a nation and fought back against those who attacked us. You may see our officers over the next few days remembering the 412 emergency personnel who gave their lives trying to save those in the towers by displaying a black band across our badge. **The picture below, we do not own, all rights reserved to the original owner of the picture who graciously provided an amazing image of the towers utilizing each victims portrait.** #NeverForget #911Memorial

PUBLIC SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT Unfortunately, the Town of Geneva has an individual or individuals who are "helping themselves" to property that belongs to others. Over the past week we have had reports of thefts of items that have appeared to have been "easy to take", such as things left laying outside. The Geneva Police Department is requesting that residents report ALL suspicious activity regardless of how "petty" it may be. These thefts are taking place during the overnight hours. Please keep everything of value picked up and/or locked up especially during the overnight hours. Should you see suspicious activity, or suspicious individuals please call either 911 or Adams Co Dispatch at 724-5345. Should you have information regarding any of these thefts, please contact the Geneva Police Department, at either 368-7077 or through Dispatch at 724-5345 or through Adams County CRIMESTOPPERS. You may also message us through Facebook as well. Your help is requested in catching the individual(s) responsible for this. The information you have may be more significant than you realize.
