Handicap Parking—Handicap meter parking is for visitors only, and they must have a handicap placard and pay the parking meter. Enforcement will begin September 1. Student Housing—With the increased pedestrian traffic, drivers need to be alert and slow down around housing. Skateboards—While skateboarding is allowed for transportation, pedestrians still have the right of way. Caution should be used, especially near building exits, because people may not hear you approaching.

The Allen County War Memorial Coliseum is issuing a Traffic Advisory for Coliseum Boulevard, Parnell Avenue and other roadways surrounding the complex on Wednesday, May 9 for the Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne Commencement. A large crowd is expected for the commencement ceremony, scheduled to begin at 4:30pm. Construction on Coliseum Boulevard at Coldwater Road has affected traffic patterns, causing backups and increased traffic congestion during this time period. We encourage commencement guests to arrive early and leave plenty of time for travel to the complex. We encourage members of the general public to seek alternate routes to avoid this area on Wednesday, May 9 during the late afternoon. The IPFW Police Department would like to thank the IPFW locations of Tim Hortons Cafe and Bake Shop and Hungry Howie's, as well as Pizza Hut on St. Joe Road, for donating the food our officers passed out on recent study breaks at the Helmke Library. Your generosity hasn't gone unnoticed.

Taylor Hartman and friends!

It was a bad day for the Western Illinois women's volleyball team. After losing to the IPFW women, their bus broke down even before they could get off campus! Special thanks to Parker Towing & Recovery for removing the bus and to Excursions Trailways for assisting in getting the women on the road!

We are grateful tonight for the protection given our officer in the personal injury accident today. His name and further details will be released at a later time.
