The 6th Annual FRONT STREET DRAGS is June 23rd. This is the fundraiser for our reserve department. This year we have two new divisions, 1 is for kids on power wheeled vehicles! Can you imagine the fun of watching 3-8 year olds drag racing their little battery powered vehicles? Man this could be huge....and yes some parents or grandparents may "modify" to win the FIRST PLACE TROPHY! Please pass this along....

If you are in need of police services please call dispatch: 449-3000. They will send the on duty officer, or county police if Woodburn is not on duty.

NOTICE: There is not, nor was any shots fired near Woodlan this morning. A man driving a van near the area had his back window crack, school was put on lock-down as precaution while officers checked the area. NO evidence of any shots fired.

While we are finishing up gathering the toys in the 2017 Santa Toy Patrol for Woodburn children...I wanted to thank a few special helpers: Jan Palmer, Monica Kelsey, Bridge Manufacturing, Dollar General, Bobs Restaurant, and those of you that help and I dont see you working behind the scenes. What a wonderful community that comes together to help those in a liittle need!

This years Santa Toy Patrol is under way. Donations can be purchased at Dollar General or can be dropped off at City Hall. Each year with your donations we help between 15-20 families "IN WOODBURN"! Thanks so much!
