The Mitten Tree is back! In the past, the Prosecutor's Office has gathered donations of hats, gloves, scarves, and mittens to donate to local charities here in Clay County. We will be collecting items until December 23rd. Please feel free to stop by the 3rd floor of the courthouse to place items on our tree!

Congratulations to Victim Advocates Keli McCoy and Stephanie Dickison! Recently, Keli and Stephanie attended a week long training on how to go about interviewing child victims. After the training, both had to pass a test in order to receive their certifications. They received training on the ChildFirst Forensic Interview Protocol, child development, memory and suggestibility, testifying in court, legal issues and preparing children for court. The Prosecutor's Office is now more qualified to handle the needs of child victims. Good work Keli and Stephanie!

Great work Matt!

Great work by Clay County Sheriffs Office, Parke County Sheriff's Office, Putnam County Sheriff's Office, Vigo County Drug Task Force, Indiana State Police, and Clay City Police Department! We appreciate your hard work!! Those who were arrested are innocent until proven guilty.
