Attention! We have a used police vehicle for sale! Year: 2006 Make: Chevy Model: Tahoe Mileage: 133,388 Engine: 5.3L V8 Other Details: 4 wheel drive, clean inside and out. The rear differential pinion gear and ring is seized, so this vehicle cannot be driven without changing this out. It will need to be towed from the police department parking area, at the expense of the person making the purchase. The transmission and engine are in good working order. The engine has had the oil changed every 4,000 miles. The vehicle is being sold as is and no warranty is available. The graphics package will be removed prior to pick-up. The following arrests have been made by the Bristol Police Department from 08/03/2018 thru 08/20/2018. They are as follows: On 8/10/18 Danny Lee Heerschop, 48, Elkhart, was stopped by the Bristol Police for traffic violations and was later found to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 8/10/2018 Sean Todd Sparks was arrested at 53586 Cr 27 Lot B in Bristol on an outstanding warrant. He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 8/11/2018 Brandon Stanley, 42, Elkhart, was arrested for operating while intoxicated after a traffic stop in the 600 block of E. Elkhart, St. He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 8/12/2018 Michael Folks, 48, Goshen, was arrested for operating while intoxicated after a traffic stop in the 52000 block of SR 15. He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 8/12/2018 David Bryan Olmstead II was arrested at 1108 Bloomingdale Dr. in Bristol on an outstanding warrant. He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 8/12/2018 Brandon T. Sheinke was arrested at SR 15 and Cr 14 on an outstanding warrant. He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 8/3/2018 Rickey D. Black Jr. was stopped for traffic violations in the area of Sr 120 west of Cr 21. He was found to be driving while license suspended-prior. He was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine, two contolled substances, a legend drug, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail.

Update: These two pups have been caught thanks to the kindness and effort of some wonderful Bristol residents! They are at the Elkhart County Human Society as we speak. A big thank you goes out to the residents who would not give up trying to get these little guys to safety! These two dogs have been running loose in the area of Hillbish and Indiana in Bristol all morning. The police have been out there along with some awesome citizens to try and coax these little guys into a cage with no luck. If you know who these dogs belong to please contact the Bristol Police Department at 574-848-4464. We would hate to see them get hit but we cannot seem to catch them! Thanks!

This dog was found near the Bristol Little League yesterday. If you are or know the owner the pup is safe at the Elkhart County Humane Society.

He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 7/19/2018 Teasia L. Sanders was arrested at CR 17 N of CR 14 on an oustanding warrant. She was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 7/21/2018 Patrick W. Scholl was arrested on an outstanding warrant. He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 7/21/2018 Katelynn Jean Clark was arrested at 1305 W. On 7/28/2018 Clinton Michael Perrin, 36, Michigan, was stopped for traffic violations and was found to be operating while intoxicated. He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 7/31/2018 Jamie Leigh Dehoff was arrested at 22720 SR 120 on an outstanding warrant. She was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 8/1/2018 Kash Dorrier was arrested at 1305 W. Vistula Apt 811 on an outstanding warrant. He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 8/2/2018 Tayah M. Layton, a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for traffic violations was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. She was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail.

Grand Elk Railroad will be repairing the rail crossing at SR 120 on the east side of town in Bristol. They will be closing the crossing on August 20 through August 25, 2018. Please plan your route accordingly.

On 6/26/18 Byron N. Diaz, 42, was stopped in the 100 blk of W. Vistula for traffic violations. He was found to have a license of status of Habitual Traffic Violator with a lifetime suspension. He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 6/26/18 Victor Atkinson, 60, was stopped near CR 6 and CR 21 for a traffic violation. He was found to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 6/26/18 Christopher Cornelius Brown was arrested on an outstanding warrant at 2020 Blakesley Parkway in Bristol, Indiana. He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 6/26/18 David Paul Patterson Jr. was arrested on an outstanding warrant at 605 Kesco Drive in Bristol. He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 6/29/18 Matthew D. Scott, 32, of Bristol was stopped for a traffic infraction by the Bristol Police and was found to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 6/30/18 Dawson S. Oesch, 20, Middlebury, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated after a traffic stop in the 20000 blk of US 20. He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail. On 7/13/18 Heather L. Stringfellow, 29, Bristol, was stopped by the Bristol Police on a traffic violation and was later found to be in possesion of drugs and paraphernailia. She was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail.
