Swayzee Residents!🎭🧙‍♀️🧛‍♀️🧟‍♀️ Halloween Trick or Treat has been set for October 31st 2018 from 6pm-8pm. As always, the SWPD reminds kids and their parents not to pass out or accept “homemade” candies unless you fully trust the individual who made it. It is recommended not to pass out such candies except for individually wrapped store bought kinds. Be safe, and be spooky but most of all.... have fun! Remember that the consequences of a good “trick” could cost you your “treats”

ATTENTION; new software for the town is available and is requested that you sign up. Click the link below. It will come in handy for being updated on important town info.

TOMORROW, Saturday 9/15 the Swayzee Community First Responders (fire, police & ems) will be giving back to the community in thanks for your support throughout the year. This year the annual “Community Safety Day” is ran a little different. Starting at noon and lasting until 4pm. You and your family/children will be able to see first hand in real time how first responders work together to achieve one goal; saving lives. The goal of this community safety day has been and is designed for citizens to have a chance to meet their local police, fire and EMS in a non-emergent low stress situation. The community gets to know us, and we get to know the people of our community. We have the chance to demonstrate each departments specialized fields and expertise while educating all ages how to better prepare for an “emergent” situation. Hope to see new and old faces out tomorrow. The event will be hosted at Swayzee Elementary School (405 s. Washington). All ages are welcome. Free food will also be provided. Come on out and show your support for all who support you! Please help get the word out by SHARING & TAGGING your friends. Stay safe out there. SWPD👮‍♂️
